Grown from the seed of an idea, our expansive living landscape holds the collective memory of our nation and, together, we remember. It is where powerfully symbolic sculpture, landscaped gardens and woodlands invite visitors to discover the stories that shaped our world.

As we begin our next chapter as the Royal British Legion National Remembrance Gardens, we look forward to welcoming you to our autumn programme of events and activities remembering service and sacrifice on behalf of the nation.
From planting in the late 1990s to opening to visitors in 2001, our site has grown through the commitment of volunteers, a supportive Friends group, memorial holders and local communities.
