This new anniversary exhibition explores the history of our site, from its humble beginnings to a now thriving landscape, as told through the experiences of 25 remarkable women who have played an important role in its development.
Using film, photography and personal reflection visitors are invited on a journey into the history of the National Remembrance Gardens. From those who established and nurtured, to creatives whose artistry brings the inspiring stories we share to life, together, their collective voices tell of the people and moments that have defined our story so far, and the legacy the site continues to build for future generations.
In 2026, we will mark 25 years since our site officially opened to the public.
Throughout the year, we’ll be celebrating the stories, milestones, and moments that have shaped our story so far, as we look to the future, with a special programme of exciting exhibitions, events and activities.
